Lucrèce Atchade

-has been working as a dancer at Walô since 2013. She created her first choreography ‘Donkpevou, Moi Ado’ in 2017. She is a versatile performer who tours with international musicians and teaches contemporary African hip hop. She is part of LGC’s training team co-creating with them on performances in Senegal, Mali and Burundi. In her artistic work, femininity and the social position of women in Africa is a guiding theme

AFRO urban dance is an African-inspired dance that takes you from one continent to another. Lucrèces style is a rich and varied mix of steps, movements and postures with various influences of urban dance. hip-hop, dancehall, and African styles. Afro Urban Dance is thus situated between contemporary and traditional dance movements.
During this workshop, you will discover all the essential postures and expressions to practice the movement language (gestures, undulation of the pelvis a.o….), which is offered through choreographic compositions to rhythmic and trendy music.
