Jane Lord
Jane studied ballet in California and went on to the National Ballet School of Canada from where she graduated. In 1979 she joined Het Nationale Ballet where she was promoted to principal dancer in 1990. Jane danced all the leading roles of the company’s classical and contemporary repertoire including works of Van Dantzig, Balanchine, Van Schayk, Ashton and Van Manen. Jane coordinates the Scouting and Outreach Program of the National Ballet Academy and also teaches there ballet, variations, and repertory classes.
