Klaas received his dance education at the Brabants Conservatorium (Tilburg, the Netherlands) and the Paris Opera Ballet School. He danced with the Royal Ballet of Flanders, Cie. Angelin Preljocaj and Scapino Ballet Rotterdam in ballets by Balanchine, Nureyev, Kylián, Wubbe, Preljocaj, De Châtel and Leine&Roebana, among others. He is currently a staff member at Codarts’ HMD and teaches company class at Scapino Ballet, ICK Emio Greco, Ballet Preljocaj, Ballet de Marseille (La Horde) and Nederlands Danstheater.
