Maya Pevzner
Maya was born in Kazakhstan and studied at the Seleznev Ballet School. She had a one year internship in Vaganova school in St.Petersburg and danced as a soloist with the ballet company in Almat. Maya was accepted to the by Mariinsky/ Kirov theatre in St.Petersburg where she danced for 8 years. After leaving Russia she danced with the Israel Ballet and Dutch National Ballet. After retiring from dancing, she completed the Vaganova Future Teacher Course. Maya lives in Amsterdam with her family and works as a freelance guest teacher.
