Kaide Gonzalez –originally from Sweden, is a House and Hiphop dancer that started his professional training at Åsa Folkhögskola. Here he deepened his knowledge of the different street dance styles by attending: Five Styles (2009-2010), Hiphop One Style (2014-2015), House One Style (2016-2018). In 2018 he moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to study a Dance Teacher education at the Academy of Theatre and Dance. Alongside this he frequently participates in battles in- and outside of the Netherlands.
Most recently, he has been working with the company CCNRB/Black Sheep in France as a dancer in the performance Earthbound.

Class info
The purpose of the class is to act as an introduction to house dance as well as sharing tools for
improvisation that I have gained throughout my years within the street dance scene and during my
education at the Academy for Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. As I further research and develop my
skills within improvisation I see that different dance forms – like house and contemporary – have much to offer to each other.
