Class description: This class is a guided improvisation mainly informed by my work with Sharon Eyal. It’s a in-progress movement research influenced and inspired by her as well as my colleagues. Because of Sharon’s history with Batsheva, the approach to class we take in the company (L-E-V) clearly derives elements from Gaga, but the verbal language as well as the values in terms of physicality and form have taken a different direction. In class I try to approach technique through textures of movement, states of mind, sensation and physical problem solving.
