2021-17 Forsythe Improvisation Technologies
Amy Raymond will be teaching Forsythe Repertoire and technologies workshop, based on more than 20 years experience as a professional dancer, teacher and stager of his work.
Amy will choose a piece from Forsythe’s vast repertoire based on the unique make up of the participants. The choreography will be both coached and then deconstructed with the use of the Improvisation Technologies.
Exploring both the choreography as well as improvisation tasks empowers the dancer to create in real time. This process is a window into Forsythe’s creative practice which places the dancers’ creative autonomy as a central element.
